Greetings of the VRT community, in this new post I will introduce the challenge of the VRT project and for more details let's just go to the following discussion:

The current situation in the Virtual Reality (VR) based entertainment industry somewhat reminds me the situation with the video games market in 1970-80th. On the one hand, VR entertainment industry is definitely on the rise, enjoying the increasing interest in VR games in the US or Zero Latency in Australia. On the other hand, the market of VR games presently experiences the same major problem that plagued the market of video games back in 1980th, hindering its development.

Namely, the creation of VR games and content is monopolized by a few competing with other companies, also producing VR equipment, with a very limited number of independent producers of VR content. Sounds familiar? Yes, it's the same situation like the console wars between Sega and Nintendo in 80th. There are other similarities.

Each company produces VR games designed specifically for its own hardware which leads to splitting the VR game market into the groups of hardcore fans of a particular gaming platform. There are many opportunities for VR market, which leads to the restructuring of VR commercialization.

VRT World, a Moscow based company, offers an answer to this current roadblock in VR content development. VRT World, formerly known as VR Technologies, works in the field of Virtual Reality since its inception. In December VRT World opened Z8 VR Park, the first place in Moscow, offering VR gaming experience. The company developed its own unique technology "Full Body Tracking VR" allowing to accurately track the body movements of a player with a limited number of sensors. As a proof of concept, VRT produced a video game, "Star Troopers, based on full body tracking technology." The game features the theme of space colonies and interplanetary conflicts attracted a lot of interest, being first introduced as an attraction at Z8 VR Park .

Holding a full stack of VR development tools, VRT World offers a shared platform for VR developers providing all the necessary instruments for the talented independent programmers and teams interested in producing VR content. This is a very timely idea, considering that currently, VR industry is hard and expensive for the novices to get into because of the costly equipment, software, and testing tools. The VRT platform includes easy to use SDK and API, decentralized storage, and VR emulator, using which the developers can test their programs. The platform offers developers the company's own tracking system, innovative proprietary technology, allowing to track player's movements with high precision. Among other things, the platform provides an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based NPC builder, optical tracking integration, a choice of graphics engines, including Unreal Engine 4, CryEngine, and Unity, full-body tracking emulators, blueprints for integration with a variety of VR controllers and headsets.

In addition to the development tools, the platform also provides a digital marketplace aimed at bringing together content producers, content buyers, marketers, and advertisers. The marketplace is based on blockchain and uses platform specific VRT tokens for all the operations on the platform, including purchasing or renting of VR content and platform services. The intrinsic reliability of the blockchain technology and smart contracts eliminates the usual headaches related to the issue of transactions 'and payments' security. VRT Tokens are Ethereum based tokens that can be tradable on crypto markets.

In February and March, 2018 VRT World will conduct a token sale with an aim to distribute 75% of its fund of 100,000,000 VRT tokens. The company is expecting to raise up to $ 16,000,000 in investments.
